The starting point
Many companies in Germany want to use AI. Most tools charge a price for it: data leaves European jurisdiction, and internal access rights suddenly no longer apply in the chat. Anyone who may not open a file still gets it summarised by the assistant.
We consider both avoidable. That is why we build Thero: an assistant that runs in German data centres, uses language models exclusively in the EU, and mirrors the permissions of your source systems.

This website carries no certification badge without an audit report and no customer count without customers. What we cannot back, we do not write.
Permissions are the boundary
An AI that bypasses access rights is not a feature to us, it is a security incident. The permission filter applies during retrieval itself, not on the result.
People decide the irreversible
An email that goes out is out. So before every irreversible action, Thero shows what would happen and waits for approval.

Where we stand
Syntriq is a GmbH based in Cologne. Behind the product is a small founding team that develops and operates Thero itself. That is why you will find no customer logos and no stock team photos on this page. What does exist: a working product we are happy to show you in person.
