Test the same use case
Choose typical questions with known answers, a longer document and a recurring process. Use the same approved test data for each candidate. Check citations, wrong answers, missing information and different users’ permissions. Ask the people who will use the system to evaluate the results.
Data location and access rights
Thero instances and storage are in Frankfurt and Hamburg; AI partners process requests in Germany and Finland. The agreed scope and DPA are authoritative. Our security page explains the distinction. For every provider, check storage, model processing, retention and subprocessors separately. A region alone does not resolve every privacy question.
Compare total costs
A Thero quote includes onboarding, instance operation and active users. We therefore do not publish a universal starting price here. The €39 in the value calculator is a model assumption, not a quote.
Langdock’s current pricing distinguishes included models for chat and agents from separately billed API and workflow usage. A blanket additional surcharge on every chat interaction does not accurately describe that model. Check licenses, billing periods and add-ons in Langdock’s current pricing. For Microsoft, verify the specific Copilot product, inclusions and prerequisites in the current provider information.
Implementation and success criteria
A pilot needs approved sources, tested permissions and an accountable team. Thero also requires this preparation. Agree in advance which answer quality and actual time savings justify adoption. Citations help with verification but do not guarantee error-free AI output.
